How should I pack the originals when sending them to you

You can send your originals to us in a padded bag or a cardboard box. If you use a padded bag for negatives and paper photos it is important that you protect them by using a piece of cardboard or stiff piece of paper to lower the risk of them being bent or broken or their way to us. Slides can be sent in their original slide magazines or not. If you use slide magazines please make sure to seal them with adhesive tape or equivalent. Please note that paper photos should not be mounted in frames, photo albums or plastic covers.

Make sure you fill the parcel properly. If you do not have bubble plastic you can just as well use, for example, old papers or something similar. The important thing is that your originals are unable to move around in the parcel during shipping, as that lowers the risk for scratched and bent originals.

For PLUS-orders with the digital photos scanned and stored in different folders it is most convenient to pack the originals in different envelopes or bags marked with the same name as the folder they should be stored in.

Do you return my old originals

Let us know if you do *not* want them in return. That lowers both shipping fees and negative environmental impact due to transportation. In those cases we will not dispose of your old negatives, photos or slides until one week after you have received the discs with digital images.

  • SMALL return shipping gives lowest environmental impact (old images are not returned)
  • LARGE return shipping include the return of the old images

I have not received an e-mail confirmation from you

If you have sent us your e-mail address with your order we send a confirmation to you when we do an arrival check of the received parcel.

In the same manner we send a delivery notice to you when we ship your scanned digital photos to you.

Sometimes our messages can get caught in e-mail spamfilters, so please always check your spam filter first. If case you do not find any message from us you are always welcome to contact us to see what has happened.

How many discs are included in a standard order

We deliver one disc which contains your digital images. If you order copies, these are stored on separate discs.

The first copy is always free of charge, and after that we charge according to the current price list.

All discs have colour labels and are delivered in hard plastic covers. When ordering additional copies from previous orders, duplication, the label and cover of the copy may differ from the original.

Deliveries outside the European Union

We deliver to any country. Under certain conditions we can sell without Swedish VAT. The legislation differs between countries within the European Union and countries outside the EU.

What is the fixed return shipping fee

You pay the cost of sending your old originals *to* us. That cost is dependent upon, e.g. the weight and size of your parcel and which transportation company you use.

You decide if you want to use the option of our fixed return shipping fee called SMALL. It applies across the European Union and no matter how large or small the order is. Only discs with the digital images are sent back.

We do not dispose of your old negatives, photos, slides or memory cards until one week after you have received the discs with transferred images.

If you prefer to get your old originals back, you instead choose the fixed return shipping fee called LARGE. It applies across the European Union and no matter what size the order is.

We hope that this pricing model will encourage customers to lower the environmental impact by not wanting the old originals in return after they have been scanned.

What happens if I do not give you my e-mail address?

We will be unable to send you messages on expected delivery date, parcel ID etc. It makes no other difference with regards to our services.

Cancellation of contract

All our deliveries are specifically produced and personalised, and the discs are delivered sealed. According to the rules on distance selling you do therefore not have the right to a cooling-off period or cancellation of contract.
